Somalia is experiencing a historic drought following five consecutive failed rainy seasons that have resulted in mass displacement, widespread death of livestock, and a devastatingfood crisis.
HAP conducted a one-day training for 30 CSO representatives in Baidoa with the aim of raising community awareness and knowledge about how to identify and assess the impact of drought and the advantages of early warning and preparedness strategies.The session exchanged outstanding lessons and was successfully completed.
